FAQ: What is a nexus letter
Answer: A nexus letter, also called a medical opinion, is a letter connecting one of your conditions to a service-related condition or to the service itself. It uses your records and scientific evidence to support your claim. It is usually written by a physician.

FAQ: What is a DBQ- this is the form that is filled out by a Disability examiner regarding the condition you are filing for. It records your concerns, and relevant medical content. It is filled out during a C&P exam.

FAQ: What is a C&P exam?
A compensation and pension exam is the exam you will be scheduled for with a disability reviewer who will ask questions about your condition and do an exam on you. This will be the evidence that moves forward to decide if you get a service connection and at what rating.

FAQ: Do you have to be a Veteran.
No! We can help make sense of the mountain of paperwork and guide you on the appropriate follow up or questions you may want to ask your doctors.

What is the process?
You will receive an initial consult call to discuss what can be done in your specific case
If you decide to move forward you will sign a contract and submit payment
You will give access to your medical records for review
Finally you will receive the requested service and have opportunity for review.

My Story
I am a physician specializing in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care, with extensive experience in Veteran Disability Review. While my primary focus has been on pediatrics, my medical training and expertise are comprehensive, allowing me to effectively assist adults in various medical assessments. Medical school provides a solid foundation for these evaluations, and I am thorough and genuinely committed to helping others.

After witnessing the frustrations faced by veterans, including my own father, I was inspired to create a resource to demystify medical terminology and better prepare individuals for C&P exams. Additionally, I have served as an academic instructor at Harvard Medical School, Boston University School of Medicine, and UTSW School of Medicine.
